Leo Leisure is a family run business and was established in 1985 by Peter Brown snr and his wife Janice. The husband-and-wife team had a wealth of experience as managers for Ladbroke Bingo, taking the plunge to work for themselves they bought the Shaftesbury Bingo club in Portsmouth from Mecca Bingo. Leo Leisure was launched when they opened a second club In Eastleigh in 1994.
In 2007 they took over the bingo club in Ryde, now managed by Duncan Brown their younger son, with the Commodore Cinema adjoining the venue. Peter, their eldest son, now runs Leo Leisure, adding a bingo club In Eastbourne together with Leo’s Play Den, a soft play centre which opened in 2012.
The business continues to grow, with a new club recently opened in Weymouth, making Leo Leisure the largest independent bingo operator on the South Coast. Leo Leisure’s mission statement is and has always been ‘VALUE FOR MONEY BINGO’.
